I am Rodé de Jager, an artist based in the serene Garden Route George. My artistic journey began in 2011, but life took me on a detour into theology. It was through navigating personal challenges, particularly my mother's mental health, that I found my way back to the canvas. As a wife and mother of four, my art is deeply rooted in the experiences and emotions that come from these roles. My work seeks to convey a sense of hope and beauty amidst life's complexities.
